Ingrid Bergman was married three times; most famously to the Italian director, Roberto Rossellini. Their daughter, Isabella Rossellini, is also a famous actress.

Bergman battled cancer for several years, which ultimately took her life. She was cremated and had her ashes scattered off the coast of Sweden, her native country. 2 In honor of Bergman’s birthday, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will be playing a marathon of her movies.3 To read The New York Times obituary for Bergman, click here.
